Mittens for Annie's Class
   Every year, around Christmas time,
Laura would ask West Coast Knitter's
Guild members to knit mittens for
   Annie's Class. Annie is Laura's
daughter and she teaches Grade 1 at
Public School in New York City.

This year I made a pair of pink Lopi
   mittens from Norah Gaughan's book.
I added some eye-lash yarn at the
first row for the thumbs and the cuff
   edge of the mitts.

I really enjoyed knitting the mittens.
   Norah's Target Wave Mittens are
ingenious and I believe she really
stands out as an original knitwear
   designer.

I am happy Domini really likes them.
Thank you for the drawings and note.
